We had some cakes here and they were really delicious. Plus the meadows were lush green and there was a peacock strutting around going from person to person and nibbling on food they would provide. May be they can sell some peacock food here - that would make it better

Little and quiet oasis on the island for all the thirsty and hungry ones. We had good coffee and beer there. No card payment, only cash, which is acceptible as this is an authentic rural place.

A really nice and quiet place. Nothing fancy, but great for a pause when visiting the island. And there are also peacocks walking around

We visited in July. English tourists , I lived in Berlin in the 1970s and had good memories of the island.
I think this place is OK if you are Berliners or German. they do not seem to welcome tourists. even ones that speak a little German!
The ordering system is very odd, there are two ques one to order one to pay- but its one person doing both jobs! we stood in the wrong one the one to pay, on getting to the counter were were shouted at and told to get in the correct que.
The food was OK, BUT, I ordered an Apfelsaft u0026 spritz and I received an Aperol Spriz, I said I did not want that as it was not what I ordered and I was shouted at very aggressively by a woman and told that this what I asked for so I had to have it.
The people working at the café were very rude, and because of that I have given 2 stars.

Nice tucked away spot to take a break from the walk. Usually many peacocks roaming about. This is the only cafe/restaurant/imbiss on the island. Not fancy, but does the job.

Very nice, green, family friendly cafe and restaurant. The only thing missing were the fries from the menu
