Delicious Mediterranean food. Very friendly service. Took proper amount of time to prepare the dishes. Seafood tasted fresh. Meat was tender. Right amount of seasonings. The atmosphere was nice and clean. There are outdoor tables.

We've been in Berlin for four nights, and picked top rated places each night. Cassambalis is by far the best. Wonderful all the way from drinks to dessert. Plus they know how to cook fish, which often disappoints. Top rating from us. Definitely recommended.

We were unhappy about some things and expressed this. No excuses, but defensive to aggressive (!) reactions from several staff members. Exceptionally bad behaviour and hospitality. We were informed that the one staff member, who was unfriendly in particular, is the owner‘s son. He seemed to influence the staff a lot. Probably he should not be in a service business. It used to be a good place, now unfortunately an unacceptable no go area.
