Overall, not bad for a change.
Most of the space of this camping place is allotted for RVs and seemingly for long term stays. During the weekend, it looked like there was not many spaces left for RVs. The average age is quite old, which can be an advantage because people are quiet and respectful (except on Saturday nights at the restaurants where they do Karaoke and you should avoid :@ ). However, there really isn't much space between each party. Although there are beautiful trees, lakes and forest nearby, it does not make you feel in nature.
The area spared for tents is quite restricted but because they are not numbered or clearly designated, you can simply go there and find some space to set up your tent, unless you don't mind being too close to other people.
It is child friendly, so it may be a good place to take kids for their first camping, if you live in Berlin or Potsdam. There is a playground in the site, and two decent lakes to swim nearby.
Restrooms and showers were clean and people were mostly respecting Corona related measures. Hot water in the showers are free of charge. There is a laundry room with washing machines and another room for dish-washing in the same facility. At the entrance of this building, there also stands a refrigerator open to public use.
There is a restaurant + bakery at the entrance of the site. The bakery is open until the afternoon when the restaurant opens. The bakery is operated by the nicest person. Fresh baked bread is great, and there are a couple of sandwiches and croissants but the food options are still a bit limited. The restaurant offers really favorable prices for drinks and food. Burgers are not the best but I won't complain. Staff were super nice but, to be honest, really slow. We waited MORE THAN AN HOUR for our burgers.
Prices are surprisingly above average. There are several better camping sites in Berlin which charge less per visitor and tent. This is one of the major reasons why we will not prefer this site for the next camping stay. But the main reason is that it feels packed...
