As someone who's worked in busy coffee shops, I'm no stranger to the hustle and bustle in a Cafe like Frau Schneider, especially since it's located in a hospital campus. People say if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, and let me tell you, they can. The Cafe has more traffic than I can imagine and yet every single customer is greeted and taken care of, usually by Sebastian, who works behind the counter and in the kitchen, he makes sure to make eye contact, smile and make each person feel special no matter how rushed they may be. Frau Schneider herself is the same, she's so warm an accommodating, she truly cares for your experience, not that shes putting on a show. The food is delicious, I'm so weak for baked goods ( cinnamon rolls, croissants, the works) and espaicllay the baguette sandwiches, my favorite being the lox. They care for the Dr's, Nurses, and med students on the grind, and they make it look easy. This Cafe isn't the place to lounge on a Saturday, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
