Fantastic cafe. Staff is friendly despite what some grumpy reviewers might think. It’s a small operation. There’s never more than 2 people working.

I’ve been coming here for years for coffee and cake. Cake is always good. Prices are always reasonable. Staff is always efficient and good for a chat if it’s not busy.

Tourists will obviously be disappointed if they think this place is going to be the Cheesecake Factory.

It’s also astounding to me how many times I’ve seen people ask to use the toilet when it says very clearly “toilet for paying customers.”

I love this cute cafe at first sight! This become my favourite place in Berlin. A cafe right at the entrance of a cemetery. Every corner shows the effort of the owner. Every corner is so lovable. Homemade variety of cake taste good and fresh. The owner s super playful and funny. He welcomes everyone with his big smile and a " trick". Thanks for everything. Good price for such quality.

If you're looking for a different place to have coffee and a piece of very good homemade cake, this is the place to go. This quaint café is located at the entrance of the old St. Mathews Cemetery in Schöneberg.

I went here on the weekend, the place looked really great, but I couldn’t stay here on account of the rude staff. I prefer to go to places where people are polite and treat each other like fellow human beings.
Maybe they were just having a bad day - I hope other patrons have a better experience.
