I’ve only ever had very interesting and delicious meals here. The Plat du Jour changes daily (as the name implies) and every single option has been wonderful. They provide great bread to accompany your meal free of charge. Prices are reasonable for what you get. I come here at least once every time I visit Berlin, sometimes multiple times for lunch since I work nearby. Huge bonus during the park week is that they are really efficient and your food is high quality but still comes out quickly.

Our salads were really nice and the place is welcoming. We haven't had such nice bread in a while. We will definitely come back to try other salads!

Maybe they can be slightly more generous on the walnuts, especially on salads like the Provence that combines walnuts and goat cheese.
I only had 3 halves of walnuts swimming in a sea of salad.

The coffee here was good, but anyone can learn to make good coffee. What makes a place memorable is the atmosphere it provides to customers. The waitress/owner (I don't know what her role was to be honest) used words that I can't repeat here, and left me shaking for at least an hour afterwards. Really wish I had heeded the warnings of previous patrons.

Dear Bistro, please stop it with the snarky replies to reviews, and spend time reflecting on how you conduct yourself online and in the restaurant. I almost feel embarrassed for you. So many more deserving businesses have shut down during Covid, it's really a shame that this place is still open.

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. (At least the one that waited on me) tricky upsell. After a hard lockdown, one would think that restaurants would appreciate going back to work and, most importantly, get income food was ok cheap Camembert. I don't recommend this place if you are expecting some service. I will not come back as I am confident that other businesses would appreciate getting my business.

Answer: Lady if you don´t realize that your answer just validates my and others review to many people say the same thing don´t you get it ?

The food was good but the staff were downright nasty to my wife, who wasn't feeling well so took a sip of her own water. I sincerely regret not having checked the reviews beforehand - seeing the manager's responses to these reviews tells you everything you need to know! I wonder if they pay people to write good reviews...

I would highly recommend this place for their avocado-pesto sandwich and lunch menu. They exceed my expectation.

Great sandwiches (especially the bread). Nice staff and atmosphere. It opens early in the morning is a plus, too.
