This place caters first and foremost to the neighborhood's 60+ population, and for them it's THE place. Then many tourists are coming from the hotels around. The service for the rest of us is old-school Berlin-style, which could seem rude. Overall, this place is okay.

Had breakfast and coffee here. Food is like home cooking, not fancy but was tasty. Price was ok too compared to other cafe's in the area. Service was good but we were the only ones in house at the time, so should be expected. Recommended if you want a decent simple breakfast at reasonable (for Berlin) prices. Coffee could have been hotter though.

This where you go when you really should stop drinking but are too drunk too care. Friendly staff. German pub food. The standard, excellent, German beers. And 24 hours so stay for breakfast, and maybe lunch too
