I read the reviews prior so already know building is older etc. Customer service for me was impeccable as a solo female traveller. I arrived 2 hours before check in and was allowed to check in as my room was ready. All my questions were answered. The one time lights went out in my room they came right away and changed the bulbs. The bedding was clean and way more comfortable than it looked. The location is excellent . Train from airport to Wittenbergplatz then 2 minute walk. There is a local food and crafts market two minutes away and several food shops and malls around. Ka De We, Europe Center ,Bikini Berlin. Street food and lots more .The local market has more unique items for souvenirs without the typical I love Berlin etc. Your universal McDonald's and KFC very close by. Immediately next to hotel is a Thai restaurant Suksan.The food is so so so good and the service and ambience of the place is to die for. I went there 3 days in a row. There is no way I can write this review without mentioning them.
So there is no breakfast served here but the amenities around and location supersedes any included breakfast.
The sight seeing tour bus 2 minutes to the second pick up spot for 10 am. I would stay there again. To get the most of the city yes. If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate an anniversary and relax no.

A basic hotel, room was clean u0026 tidy. A good hotel if you just want a base and no trimmings.We found the staff very friendly and helpful when we did see them.

First things first, this is not a hotel but a hostel.
The facilities are very dirty and/or broken. The only clean thing I must say were the towels and bed sheets, which are a must.
Met with 4 different people on my drop in luggage, later check in, back at night to my room and in the morning to leave. Half of them were extremely rude, to the opposed other two that were nice and helpful (thus my 2 stars rating).
I wouldn’t recommend it unless is the last room in the city.

The hotel itself is a bit out dated. The price was quite good, but you get what you pay for. The rooms were clean, but the lack of A/C in the rooms were annoying. Furthermore the shower in our room, was more like a hand shower rather than a normal shower and the channels on the small tv, went through badly.

Great and convenient location. The sign of the hotel is not that prominent, so it might be a bit hard to spot the first time you arrive. It is between a Thai restaurant and another hotel. The place is quite old but everything works fine with elevator and dining room. I stayed in a double room (two singles put together, they dont have a king sized bed) with private bathroom. The room is quite spacious. There’s no kettle or cups in the room though, but you can borrow from the reception if no other guest is borrowing. Wifi is accessible in most areas, but if you stay on the top floor (7th floor), its quite unstable. The receptionist can speak a little bit of English, but other staff can barely communicate. Overall, a nice hotel with great location if youre on a budget.

It's a nice and basic hotel to stay for the night, during the day we were mostly outside, we can drop off our key at the 24/7 desk, which i like. The beds are good. And the location of the hotel is nearby the public transport stations

Didn't feel very welcomed as the owner/reception guy would say I don't know to any touristy stuff I would ask. It won't hurt if you tell your guests some basic info like good places around, nearest station. I didn't get the best vibe. The room didn't have towels , even a disposable glass. I asked for towels at night and I was given right away.
