The nurses and doctors took great care. The hospital is in top condition and it was a comfortable stay (first experience with German public healthcare). Communication could be a bit better (what's happening and when) but in general it was a good experience. Thank you for the careful treatment!

I’ve been actively avoiding going to any ER in the city due to all the horror stories I’ve heard but this time I really had no choice.

Staff is friendly and truly listens to you. You can get by with English and a bit of German. I only waited ~45 min which I find more than acceptable for a busy ER.

I highly recommend this one!

After reading the positive comments, we went to emergencies today and the experience was bad. The emergency waiting room was almost empty, which surprised me, they called us quickly but the doctor who attended me was very rude, he made derogatory comments about my situation and when my partner knocked on the door because he mistakenly thought that the two we were listed together (because we have similar symptoms), the dr yelled so violently from inside that I was shocked for a moment. I did not understand why he acted that way, we were not disrespectful, in fact, in this situation I remained very calm, another person in my place would have acted differently. I know this job can be very exhausting but we don't ask for a smiling face, just basic things like not being yelled at for no reason and curing our illness. Anyway, after doing a covid test and looking at our throats a little, they told us that we had nothing. We leave the place disconcerted and with a disease that continues and we do not know what it is. What bothers me the most and that is why I leave this comment is that they did not bother to check anything and for me inaction is something very dangerous, especially in something medical.

(I do not have complaint about waiting times (the people working in the place seems very relax, in my opinion), recepcion and infrastructure of the hospital)

Hi,

The best hospital in Berlin. I had terrible experience with Charite and Vivantes in Kreuzberg, where doctors give patients wrong diagnoses . After their treatment you have to search for normal private clinic to recover from their treatment.
the only negative about Bundeswehrkankenhaus , is that I don’t understand how and why people are given sausage with bread or salad for breakfast after the operation. They brought a patient to my ward a chicken carry for dinner, after which she had a stomachache and she could not go to the toilet.

Excellent doctors, great service and pretty good food. If you broke yourself, go there to get it fixed

I would like to thank everyone at the BwK, I went to the emergency service and stayed over two nights - They took care of me very well. Everyone was so friendly and almost everyone did speak English. I felt safe and in the right hands. Big thanks and appreciations to everyone in BwK. Forever greateful

This is the best kept secret for emergency care in Berlin. The staff is always kind and the wait times are better than other ERs in the city. We’ve never had a bad experience here and refer our friends here as well.
