I do not only love this place, I especially love the passion and commitment of the volunteer type lovers, who go out and rescue obsolete shop lettering. The letter displays in the museum are raw, honest and beautiful in their uniqueness. You can see type design and craftsmanship from a time before font libraries were readily available on every computer. In my eyes, this is a wonderful place.

Everyone involved in this project deserves a lot of respect for the work they put in to preserve all these letters and signs. I'll definitely recommend this small museum to anyone interested in typography, art or design. It's a hidden gem for sure, but really happy I got to see it during my stay in Berlin.
