The hotel has many good attributes, with location and setting being the main attraction.
The room was okay, and the comfort of the bed was sufficient.
However their basic services are not very good. Air-conditioning was poor, plumbing did not drain the bath or basin.
No minibar, iron or coffee-making amenities, (not even a box of tissues) is provided.
The breakfast was good, but a warning for those depending on wifi, it does not work, even when sitting in the outdoor dining area.
I would not return to this hotel, but I would return to the area.

AMERON Berlin ABION Spreebogen Waterside was a quaint hotel, well decorated, and we had a nice view of the river. The AC in our unit did not do a very good job, and when we opened and left the windows open we had a lot of insects come in – I wish the front desk had warned us. It seems obvious but after a four hour train ride migration pattern of insects isn’t the first thing to come to mind. The room was OK sized, the beds were comfortable. The elevators were small and took a long time at peak times – if you’re on 1, 2, or 3 you should take the stairs. The breakfast is horribly overpriced at 25 euros each – don’t prepay for it – go and look at it so you know what little you are paying for.

Absolutely excellent location with easy access to the rest of the city. Brandenburg Gate and all the other attractions are just a couple of easy light rail stops away (or a super fun eScooter ride). There are tons of good restaurants within east walking distance. The breakfast buffet was amazing and parking was off street and extremely reasonably priced

Excellent service and tidy and spacious rooms.
Especially the service at the breakfast was incredibly friendly professional and very kind.
Since i have been traveling for business, a quite room and professional service are important and this hotel didn’t disappoint.

Great place to stay with friends. We signed in within minutes. It's right in the middle of Berlin so transport isn't a problem, there are bus stops down the street and the metro station is minutes away.

A good hotel overall. For me an excellent location (it is not in the beating heart of the city but is close enough with a metropolitan train station nearby), a really good Continental breakfast, helpful staff, just the room, specially the mattress and the pillows that were below the expectations.

Beautiful hotel on the Spree River. Close to the S-Bahn. Lots of local restaurants to enjoy. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Wonderful room overlooking the Spree.
