We loved it! The food was pretty good, not extraordinary but still very enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and we had a really nice time. It's decently priced, what you would expect from a restaurant. Recommended ????

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great schnitzel. Schnitzel was tender and light.
Nice thing is they give you the option of full schnitzel but also a half schnitzel portion which includes small salad.

Brot u0026 Salz is located in trendy Prenzlauer Berg right next to a quite busy street.

They have a small but nice sitting area inside and also during the summer offer seating outside.

They sadly couldn’t offer us a few dishes, but in the end we ordered one big mixed salad, Safran risotto and Gazpacho.
We were very happy with our choice and even had a short talk with the chef.

Overall we enjoyed our lunch at Brot u0026 Salz very much and will come back in the future.

Had lunch, will do a dinner and another lunch to give it a proper constructive criticism. As far as the meal was concerned I had a fine looking steak and chips with a nice price(7.50) the steak was relatively small but enough. The steak also had some stringy parts and had lumps of fat that wasn't seared well. I would say definitely visit if you are close by and looking for lunch in a chill atmosphere.

I spent two weeks in Berlin and this was my favorite restaurant by far! The food is amazing. I tried schnitzel elsewhere and it didn’t come close to the quality I found here. I went three times (had the Wiener schnitzel, apple strudel, and goulash) and tried to come back a fourth, but they were closed on my last day in the city. I will be back!

Classic german food very well done. The ambient and service is also great. Looking forward to next time.
