Please save your money! It is not worthy. I bought the all inclusive card, however they took the day of the purchase as the first day of use. Which means that I could not use a card that I bought in advance when planning my trip, I never could use it over there. At the tourist office, the staff did not mention about the card being "expired" when I first went, the person just said that I would not be able to go to specific museums without booking in advance and when I asked which museums instead of answering he was asking me "what museums do you want to go?" which is ridiculous because they have a looong list of museums, plus it was my first time in Berlin. He just needed to point to the places I needed to book in advance and he needed my prompt to do something as basic and obvious as that. Then, he said that I could not use the bus for the city tour today without saying when I could and the schedules. When I asked he just said you have to come tomorrow. It was really bad attention. When I went the next day the woman could not solve the issue with the date. This did not happen with the other passes I bought in other countries (Italy, France and Budapest) which tickets would be valid once you start using the card or pass. So, the lady told me this is a mistake that has not been solve by the company she made a phone call and tried to help but at the end she did not solve the situation and blamed as "they have not fixed this" and asked me to explain the situation when visiting the museums. I still was charged to a museum I went. Additionally, the staff seems overwhelmed so they are not really welcoming and helpful which should be the basic for an office offering touristic services. So, I gave to them 130 euros for nothing in exchange. A scam basically. Please save the headache, a lot of museums are free and other important museums are not expensive at all. You'll spend from 2 to 3 hours in each museum or attraction so if you're there only for 2 to 4 days, believe me you barely have time to use the card even if you buy it over there and are able to use it. It is just not worthy. You won't use what you will pay for. Its better just to buy your tickets online with each museum and buy the public transportation tickets over there. Additionally when I wrote to the contact information they provide, they replied 15 days later when of course I was back in town, the answer was about where to use the card as if I live there and can go any time and saying the can't not refund. (the 5 stars I gave are for people to be able to quickly read this) is not a 5 stars service at all.

Very bad idea to take the welcome card in the summer 2022: all public transport unlimited for 9€ / month. Besides we didn’t had any discount in the top musea of Berlin.

* EDIT. Avoid at all costs. No refunds or date changes available even though Germany is refusing entry from UK visitors. The rude customer services team then implied it is my fault for booking with them in the first place during a pandemic (there were no travel restrictions at all when I booked my trip and we seemed to be coming out the other side!). Definitely won’t make that mistake of booking with them again. They’re just out to take as much money off people as possible, and they’ve made the entire experience so much worse than it needed to be, particularly with their rude replies.

Really disappointed that the welcome card hasn’t adapted to the new requirements set out due to covid. You are unable to book online with the welcome card but most attractions require you to book in advance now. Seems like a complete waste of money.
The website and information is also difficult to use in English, as even if you select English as your preferred language, it changes back to German on the next page.
I’m not due to travel until December but they still won’t let me cancel the pass now that I’ve realised it’s essentially pointless.
Until they sort out making online bookings easy and available for all attractions, I would avoid completely, as you are spending more on this pass than you are saving.

The berlin welcomecard is quite useless in time of covid. All museum have to be booked online well in advance if you want to visit them. This had to be done online where you can not use the discount. If you wait until the day self, there is no more places available.

Not usable for online bookings! Why?
There is a big problem with this card. It advertises a lot of discounts, but most of them are only available when you buy tickets at the counter, not for online bookings. Which is currently requested by most attractions in Berlin due to Corona. Senseless....

Its sometimes good sometimes no saving. If you are travelling mainly with public transport remember a day ticket is aprox. €7-8 per day. Entrance is reduced a little.
If you are a student it wont pay off due to better student discount without the card.
If you are a family it might sometimes pay off. Kids less than 14 are with free transport. However, sometimes the Berlin Welcome card reduction gives a worse price than paying a family ticket in the entrance.

Conclusion:
It's convenient when using the public transport. But you do not save anything on that compared to a day ticket. A typical saving for a sight is 10-20%. So a entrance of 10 might now be 8. Unless the family ticket is better, then you save nothing with the card. We were 2 adult and 1 kid at 11. That combo saved us good on transportation since kids are included for free. But we rarely saved euros on the entrance fees due to family ticket. If we were 2 adults we would just buy day tickets. So you better spend half an hour to figure out what 5 main attractions you want to see, how many you are - and then decide!
