What a lovely small compact hotel! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We got the quadruple room and we thought the room was very spacious and clean.

The hotel itself is a bit further out from town we thought. It’s 20 min walk from Potsdamer Platz. The closest metro is about a 10 min walk so we had to rely a lot on Free Now taxis but there are buses nearby! Not a lot of restaurants nearby, you’d have to walk further out to a more busy area.

We didn’t opt in for their breakfast. It was quite pricey for €19 per person.

It would be great if there was a kettle and some mugs available in the rooms to have some tea/coffee in the morning or late at night but the staff were very accommodating to let us grab some hot water and mugs from their kitchen.

We recommend staying at Fjord if you are looking to stay outside of town in a quiet neighbourhood.

Many people complain that there is no air conditioning, but the fact is that there is no ventilation at all. A fan and open window are a must…
Such a shame because the rooms are super nice and clean and the location is very good on a quiet street but close to a lot.

The hotel was pleasant and clean, however, we were there during a heat wave in Berlin and there is no air conditioning there. It is my fault for not checking first, and also for booking a non-refundable room. We were placed in a first floor room so it would be cooler, but there we had the disadvantage of not bring able to open the windows to let in air at night because everyone could see in our room and it was very bright from the outside. We ended up checking out two nights early. I would consider staying here again in a much colder time of year and asking for a room with strong WiFi.

Extremely kind and helpful service, quiet area with good transport links. Very clean, free WiFi and TV and a surprising gratis cold sparkling water waiting for you in the fridge. Highly recommended!

This hotel is nicely located on a quiet, side street. The lady at the reception was very nice and spoke good English ???? it's close from there to the Brlo if you like good beer and to the Mall Of Berlin for a bigger shopping.

The room was spacy and was cleaned every day. Indeed, there is no air conditioning but we were in September so there was a perfect temperature inside. The WiFi was strong but it was disconnecting during longer usage like Netflix watching but reconnecting quickly.

I loved the function of opening the door from the smartphone. There are also parking spaces offered by the hotel - I recommend to book one as this is a paid parking zone.

Overall, I sincerely recommend this hotel.

Very simple hotel with a lot a possibilities for self service. But really anything special maybe except for checking in and out via app without necessity to talk to anyone or reaching the desk. For some situations priceless. Not when your phone is down, then it gets tricky. Don't really get the "fjord"... There is a moose on the wall and it's modest. That's a bit nordic. But you have to have at least waffles in your breakfast menu to call yourself anything nordic (and smoked salmon, but ok, that's pricey).

Really nice quiet clean hotel in Berlin Tiergarten. The location is one of those that are so typcial of Berlin: just around the corner from a big street and lots of life, yet really quiet and calm. The rooms are nicely made over, the check in etc. very modern just via an app (and it really works :))) - still, there is friendly human beings as personnel. Friendly breakfast room and a nice terrasse to have breakfast outside in summer, basically just a walk from main sights such as the Brandenburger Tor and Potsdamer Platz and the really lovely Tiergarten Park. Def. recommended.
