My grandmother used to go here and now I did too. It is a great lake, the water feels great and is pretty cool. It might get pretty crowded on hot days, because there is no entrance fee, but there are so many smaller spots where you can rest and enter the lake that it spreads around the whole lake.
Only downside is that there are not many public toilets around here.

On the edge of the Grunewald forest, this is one of the best bathing spots in the city. It is clean and you van enjoy multiple access points to the water. The North side is better to find small and more passivated spots. Very very nice.

This is where Berliners come on a hot summer Sunday. It's a wonderful experience which tourists don't really know about (yet). The cool, refreshing water is safe bathing for children and adults alike, shallow for a long way out across this narrow lake. And the setting is truly lovely.
Don't expect easy parking. There are no "facilities" (thank the Lord). It's a little piece of heaven.

So nice here, you can do some skin dipping and swimming ????u200d♂️. There a no official naked swim area but it’s common to see some präpele naked so do not be offended

As a family we love going to Krumme Lanke . It's quite easy by public transport or private vehicle and there is a lot happening in the area

Great place to get some fresh air and feel some nature! Pretty packed on hot Sundays but you can still find a quite spot.
