After ten minutes we were then "already" asked what we would like to drink. After another 20 minutes we were able to order the food immediately.
Monkfish with rosemary potatoes, a pizza Diavolo and a pizza Roma were ordered.
The food was then served after a normal amount of time.
The monkfish tasted ok, still on the bone and unfortunately bathed in oil. The rosemary potato (apparently there weren't any more left in the kitchen) came without rosemary, only with salt and without a drop of oil. The vegetables were ok. All for €25.
The pizza diavolo was spicy with a burnt edge. Unfortunately, this also tasted mainly like Tabasco. Mushrooms and salami were apparently just for texture.
The absolute joke for an Italian kitchen, however, was the Pizza Roma. The dough too thin, the ham so thin that you could see through it, which was simply placed on the rocket and not baked with it. The savory aroma of the Parma ham didn't come through a bit. The arugula was fresh but of substandard quality. This was very tasteless, without the well-known nutty aroma. Likewise the cherry tomatoes which, instead of tasting fruity and sweet, were simply watery.
When we said that the food was not satisfactory overall, we were immediately billed for €54.30. No further question why it didn't taste good...
We were then allowed to leave without saying goodbye.
The conclusion of the whole:
The tennis courts at the Barmer Tennis Club are great, but eat somewhere else...

Nach einer passablen Begrüßung bekommt man sofort den Kantinen artigen Flair zu spüren.
Nach Empfehlung und guter Bewertung für das Essen wollten wir das aber in Kauf nehmen.
Nach zehn Minuten wurden wir dann "schon" gefragt was wir trinken wollen würden. Nach weiteren 20minuten konnten wir dann auch umgehend das Essen bestellen.
Bestellt wurden Seeteufel mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln, eine Pizza Diavolo und eine Pizza Roma.
Das Essen wurde dann auch nach einer normalen Zeitspanne serviert.
Der Seeteufel war geschmacklich ok, noch mit Knochen und leider in Öl gebadet. Die Rosmarin Kartoffel (mehr waren anscheinend nicht mehr übrig in der küche) kam ohne Rosmarin nur mit Salz und dafür ohne einen Tropfen Öl. Das Gemüse war ok. Das ganze für 25€.
Die Pizza Diavolo war scharf und mit verbranntem Rand. Leider schmeckte diese auch hauptsächlich nach Tabasco. Pilze und Salami waren anscheinend nur für die Konsistenz.
Der absolute Witz für eine italienische Küche war jedoch die Pizza Roma. Der Teig zu dünn, der schinken so dünn das man hindurchschauen könnte, welcher einfach auf den Rucola gelegt und nicht mit gebacken wurde. Das herzhafte Aroma des Parmaschinken kam nicht ein bisschen zur Geltung. Der Rucola war zwar frisch aber qualitativ unterirdisch. Dieser war sehr geschmacksneutral, ohne das bekannte nussige Aroma. Ebenso die Kirschtomaten welche, anstatt fruchtig süß zu schmecken, einfach wässrig waren.
Als wir sagten das dass Essen insgesamt nicht zufriedenstellend war, bekamen wir auch gleich die Rechnung von 54,30€. Keine weitere Nachfrage wieso es nicht geschmeckt hat...
Wir durften dann auch ohne Verabschiedung gehen.
Das Fazit des ganzen:
Die Tennisplätze vom Barmer Tennis Club sind spitze, aber geht woanders essen...
