Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. Some details can still improve the stay. The lack of a small refrigerator was a minus. Also at breakfast only 1 coffee machine and no chilled fruit juice. For the rest top.

Amazing breakfast, clean rooms, keep the curtains drawn because the room will heat up like a sauna if you don't. Beds are a bit stiff, but if you like that then they'll be perfect. Super nice staff.

The hotel is well positioned in relation to the train/bus stations. The breakfast was nice and my room was clean and quite large; there was tea and coffee facilities, a safe, a hairdryer and plenty of space for clothes. The hotel has a policy of only cleaning the room every other day, although you can take a card to reception to express your wish to have your towels changed every day, for example. I checked in very late and left early in the morning, and did not actually see the card. Given that this is still an unusual practice, it would be good to emphasise it during the check-in process and ensure that if the room is only cleaned every other day, then there is coffee for two days, that the staff knows where to find it if asked for it (the person at reception was not able to find coffee when I asked for more) and that the shower supplies are sufficient (there was barely any shampoo left on day 1 and definitely none on day 2 in my shower). Another oddity was that it was not possible to use the stairs to go up to the rooms, unless somebody from the hotel could open the door for you. In this day and age, when exercise is highly recommended, and electricity at a premium, having to take a lift for no reason seems quite counter-intuitive. So in summary, pleasant and comfortable but could do with sorting out a few things.

Double room bit small but clean and comfortable. Car park Unfortunately costs 12€ but secured with 9 levels. Opposite bus station but quite. Fully recommended

I marked my stay a four star, although it suppose to be lower. The hotel has a grand location opposite to the old town, close to the schewebahn (suspended tram), rooms are well designed, good breakfast offer and very friendly u0026 professional staff. So what is wrong? The room assigned the AC did not work, bathroom amenities like shampoo bottle holder u0026 tissue box are both empty and lastly, when you book and have your car in the underground car park, you room is allocated in the wing that is far away, that one with luggage has to pass the corridors, over steps to the reception area and walking to the elevator lobby going up the guest floor, where as they have rooms direct above the car park. I asked why? No clear explanation given when asked and this does not make any sense. The hotel only provide a large luggage trolley and now these days most of hotels provide airport airport trolleys, so handy and so convenient.

This is a good hotel in every way: nice rooms, friendly staff, good location next to train- and busstation and shops. The lobby looks really inviting. We even spent some time in one of the meeting rooms, looking through the collection of Taschen art books on the shelves. We were pleasantly surprised by the free tickets to the public transport, they were included in the hotel booking.

Good place to stay. Breakfast is very good. Room and service is excellent. Near to train and bus station.
