We had guests and a wonderful meal and good time at this besen. The food was very good, great portions and well-cooked. The wine was very pleasant and the staff very accommodating for us english-speakers.

We sat at a large table with two other german couples and had a wonderful experience. Loved it, and recommend it.

Zehhhhhhr GUT!
This is my favorite place to go when I'm visiting Stuttgart. Consistently great wines,
and delicious food during "besen" seasons. The Zaiss family are great and treat their guests as one of their own.

Ein wirklich schöner Besen zum gemütlich sitzen und genießen. Allerdings kann ich keine volle Punkte geben, da preislich die Weine schon am obersten Limit aus meiner Sicht sind. 9,60 Euro für einen viertel Gewürztraminer war schon ordentlich. Lecker war er, aber bei 7,50 Euro hätte ich noch einen weiteren getrunken ;-) Essen war gut aber eben recht übersichtlich für den Preis. Unterm Strich - toller Besen, der preislich schon recht hoch ist.

Ein wunderbares Ambiente und ein hervorragender Traubensaft. Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch der Himbeerlikör - in der Tat nicht nur ein "Frauengetränk". Die Karte ist nicht überladen und recht typisch für einen Besen. Meinem Mann hat es geschmeckt (Schnitzel mit Salat) und umgeben waren wir auch von glücklichen, zufriedenen wie auch "gschwätzigen Leut" - fast alles Prima also und absolut empfehlenswert. Fast bezieht sich lediglich auf 2 Bedienungen die offensichtlich nach Sympathie einschenken, und das an einem Tisch, wie auch insgesamt einen sehr "grätigen" Eindruck machen - Ladies, das geht besser!

Die Strecke durch die Weinberge von Esslingen nach Obertürkheim hat ihren Charme, allerdings muss man den Blick auf die Industrie mögen, meins ist es nicht so.. Ich freue mich auf die Runde "Stetten - Esslingen"...
