This is one of the best parks here in Stuttgart germany. It is nice and peaceful. Also it is very safe. You can see many types of birds here like; swans, geese, ducks, cranes, and parakeets. Large wild rabbit's and red and black squirrels. It also goes from the city center all the way to the city zoo. I highly recommend this place.

A great place to walk or bike ride. The park is well maintained with plenty of benches spaced out just enough for rest breaks if/whenever you need one. Plenty of sunny open spaces and shady areas where you can spread out and relax.
There is a pretty big playground that even has a seperate area better suited for the younger kids.
You can eat at the beer garden or about halfway through the park there is the "grillplatz" area where you can grill your own food or buy some snacks/drinks from the stand. It gets pretty busy in the evenings so be prepared to share a grill with others and be a little patient. I have also seen some people bring their own mini-grill to use here.
On one end of the park you have access to Hauptbahnhof (I think that's technically mitlerer schlossgarten though) and on the other end there is the Rose Garden with Wilhelma zoo just beyond that.

What a beautiful place to calm down and relax your ears from the cities noises. I recommend this park to be checked out by everyone :)

A very peaceful park full of animals and a huge lake. Its altering topography gives the park a playful appearance and leads you up to the zoo and the botanical garden.
