Was wir gestern in diesem Restaurant erlebt haben war die Höhe. Ich und 2 Begleiter hatten in diesem Restaurant Mövenpick Eis gekauft. Daraufhin sind wir weiter nach vorne gegangen Richtung Schlossplatz und haben uns an einem Leeren Tisch hingesetzt das zum Restaurant gehört. Die Belegung von den Tischen waren zu 95% frei. Es waren so gut wie keine andere Gäste an den anderen Tischen. Kaum saßen wir, kam die Bedienung an und sagte, hier können wir nicht sitzen bleiben oder wir müssen was bestellen. Dann sagte ich, wir haben ja hier das Eis  bei ihnen gekauft. Ja, das sind aber andere Preise hier an den Tischen und die MwSt. wäre eine andere?!  Deswegen müssen sie jetzt gehen. Meine Antwort, es kann ja nicht sein, dass wir hier bei ihnen was kaufen und dann hier nicht sitzen bleiben können, zumal alles frei ist. Daraufhin bin ich  aufgestanden und nach vorne ins Restaurant gegangen und fragte nach dem Geschäftsführer. Der wäre heute nicht da, war die Antwort somit habe ich dann gesagt, ok dann werde ich eine entsprechende Rezession schreiben.  Dieses Restaurant ist auf keinem Fall zu empfehlen zumal ich ja auch schwer gehbehindert bin und das erlebt man in Stuttgart! Ob der Mitarbeiter überhaupt eine Arbeitsplatzerlaubnis hat, möchte ich fast bezweifeln, so wie er reagiert hatte.

Meine Begleitungen und ich haben mindestens 10 Minuten im spärlich besetzten Gastraum (was uns bereits von Anfang an etwas seltsam vorkam, da ansonsten viel Trubel in der Stadt herrschte) gewartet, sind vom anwesenden Personal vor und hinter dem Tresen aber schlicht ignoriert worden. Kein "guten Abend", kein "sorry, wir schließen heute eher" oder dergleichen, was wir natürlich verständnisvoll zur Kenntnis genommen hätten. Da bin ich selbst in meinem Industriejob mehr Höflichkeit gegenüber fremden Menschen gewohnt. Hoffentlich jammert ihr Gastronomen nicht, falls es mal wieder einen Lockdown geben sollte und die Einnahmen ausbleiben, wenn man es an einem normalen Samstagabend offensichtlich nicht nötig hat, Umsatz zu generieren und stattdessen die potenzielle Kundschaft wie Luft behandelt. Wir sind dann lieber weiter gezogen und ein paar Häuserecken weiter sehr freundlich bedient worden. Immer wieder gern nach Stuttgart, in diesem Café jedoch würde ich es in Zukunft definitiv nicht noch einmal versuchen.

Location ist auf Grund der Lage gut, richtig zentral. Service war aber heillos überfordert. Wir sind dann nach einer längeren Wartezeit unverichteter Dinge wieder gegangen.
Das Eis ist hier von Mövenpick. Sicher lecker. Die Auswahl an Eisbechern ist jedoch sehr übersichtlich. Das ist schade. Also im Zweifel gleich eine echte Eisdiele aufsuchen.
