We called and made a reservation at 1900 on a Saturday night without problem. The bar and wait staff speak German and English and they have menus for the same. They have valet parking that is extremely reasonable at €2,40 per hour.

Food was excellent and portions were large. They focus on Schwaban cuisine with French and Bavarian influences.

The room atmosphere is of typical German restaurant. The exception being the classic American rock being played in the background. They had fullsize taper candles burning at each table.

It's a bit hard to find as it's really on an alleyway. You have to look for the Ampulle restaurant and then turn there into the small road to find it. But, it's well worth the drive to dine.

I liked the food and everybody was very kind. I guess you can choose anything from the menu. But keep in mind, it is very busy place, so you might want to book table in advance, otherwise around 7pm you might not be able to sit down. Place has great atmosphere.

If looking for a traditional Stuttgart dinning, this is the place. Cosy interior decoration in the traditional Germanhaus style. Fair price, good quality. Totally worth it!

Ps. Have to reserve a table

Absolutely superb traditional German Swabian fare. Traditional decor and great service. Good vegetarian options and no problem with English. Would definitely go again.

We didn't book but turned up unannounced on a Saturday night in the Christmas period. This means we sat at the bar but no mind. Lovely, cosey authentic German type restaurant. Manager Tanya, showed an extensive wine list (didn't know Germany made great wines - but the do!). Food was tasty and plentiful - my pork especially so.
