We were led through the bunker by an elderly gentleman who had experienced the war, the bombing of Stuttgart and the Nazi state as a small boy. Through many small anectodes and conveying details about the exhibits, you get a very lively picture of this horrible time. Critical references to the present are always made. It becomes clear that the "war machine" continues and that the war professors of that time continue to profit from wars. The bombs are falling in other parts of the world today. If you don't understand why people from war zones or dictatorships flee to us, I recommend this bunker tour. Anyone interested in history anyway. I am sure that everyone who thinks they know everything about World War II will learn a lot of new things.

Hervorragend! Wir haben den Spitzbunker besichtigt. Die Führung hat meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Der Bunker ist wie ein Museum mit vielen Utensilien und Bildern aus dem 2. Weltkrieg ausgestattet. Man erfährt nicht nur etwas über den Bau von Schutzbauten während des 3. Reichs, den Zuständen innerhalb und außerhalb des Bunkers während einen Luftangriffs und der Zerstörungskraft der verschiedenen Bomben, sondern auch viele Details über das Leben der Bevölkerung während der Nazi-Diktatur. Es ist heute nicht mehr vorstellbar, unter welcher permanten Lebensgefahr die Menschen damals lebten - durch den Krieg, aber viel mehr durch die NS-Überwachung.
Wir wurden von einem älteren Herrn durch den Bunker geführt, der als kleiner Junge den Krieg, die Bombardierung Stuttgarts und den NS-Staat noch selbst erlebt hatte. Durch viele kleine Anektoden und Vermittlung von Details zu den Austellungsstücken bekommt man ein sehr lebhaftes Bild von dieser grauenhaften Zeit. Dabei werden auch immer wieder kritische Bezüge zur Gegenwart hergestellt. Es wird deutlich, dass die "Kriegsmaschinerie" weiterläuft und die Kriegsgewinnler von damals auch weiterin Profit mit Kriegen machen. Die Bomben fallen heute aber in anderen Teilen der Welt. Wer nicht versteht, warum Menschen aus Kriegsgebieten oder aus Diktaturen zu uns fliehen, dem empfehle ich diese Bunkerführung. Allen historisch Interessierten sowieso. Ich bin mir sicher, dass hier jeder, der meint, alles über den 2. Weltkrieg zu wissen, noch viel Neues dazulernen wird.
