We were a group of four people (2 men, 2 women). Surprise, the one foreigner is rejected for having too much drink (it was early in the evening and for all of us the first stop) so we all went to another place.
This is not the first time I saw this type of attitude at Tankstelle, and I'm sick of this behaviour in supposedly professional bars.

Impossible to enter the bar with friends if you do not have SEVERAL girls with you. We were 6 boys and 2 girls who wanted to enjoy our reunion. We couldn't get in because we were "too many men".

Great place when everything else is closed. You may need to queue for a while (20mins tops) to enter

Nice laid back atmosphere and reasonably priced beer. The petrol station interior is quite unique and has plenty of outside seating. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Stuttgart.

Great bar, food and vibes. We celebrated my wife's birthday this weekend and our group had a blast. Bartender and staff spoke English. Highly recommend this bar/restaurant!!!
