We've eaten at a couple of Michelin-starred restaurants on our trip. I don't know if this has a M-star, but it should. The food is amazing. I had the Venison Goulash and my wife had the Spaetzle and Cheese. Both were homemade and delicious. The Merlot and Riesling house wines were wonderful. We had the Apple dessert, which was great! The staff was helpful and super friendly. No menus in English here and be prepared to share your table if you're just a party of two. Loved it!

This restaurant has a little beer garden out back and I was excited to try it out. I easily made an online reservation through Google Maps and was seated right away. It took almost 10 minutes to get a menu and then another 10 minutes trying to flag someone down to take my drink order. Beer was served cold in a stein and tasted delicious. I started to get an occasion whiff of garbage and realized that I was seated next to the dumpster, which was just on the other side of the wooden fence. Gross! When our food came out, the presentation was great, but I only ate about half my meal because I didn't like the taste and it was bland. No amount of sauce could help make it taste better either. When we went to check out to pay, one of the servers chose to empty the dishwasher rather than check us out, even though there was a line 7 people long. I'm not sure I'll be returning any time soon.

Full of character. Great service and really good food. And the white wine was superb. English and German menus available. Tourist friendly yet full of locals. Great experience and would definitely return for another bottle of white in the biergarten. Beautiful experience.

Excellent portion size. Authentic german experience. Only no English menu, but not really a problem as staff spoke enough English.
