Wir waren gestern für Tanz der Vampire in Stuttgart und wollten vorab was Essen haben geguckt was es in der Nähe gibt und sind aufs KÖ5 gekommen. Warum weil uns die Bilder gefallen haben und wir Schwäbische Hausmannskost Essen wollten da wir aus NRW kommen. Also gesagt getan haben uns ins Auto gesetzt und sind los.

Als wir angekommen sind war alles super Parkplatz vorm Geschäft und der Biergarten Urig schön auch der Gastraum war viel versprechend und jetzt kommt leider das Traurige. Wir sind in den Gastraum um zu erfragen ab wir mit Karte zahlen können, kam nicht mal ein Hallo !!

Unsere Frage „Hallo wir wollten fragen ob wir hier mit der Karte Zahlen können“ darauf kaum vom Kellner der an der Theke saß mit dem Rücken zu uns nur ein Schulterblick mit der Antwort „Ja Küche macht erst um 17:00 Uhr auf“ zurück. Danach war uns klar wir fahren woanders hin.

Wir hätten es uns anders überlegt wenn was anderes gekommen wäre als Antwort.

Jeder kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben aber nicht so !!

Sollten wir nochmal in Stuttgart sein würden wir es eventuell noch mal versuchen.

Der Stern ist auch nur fürs Ambiente.

Überraschend schmackhaft - meine Erwartungen wurden tatsächlich übertroffen. Man würde meinen dass es da einfach gutbürgerliche Küche gibt. Nix außergewöhnliches. Aber tatsächlich ist das Essen dort wirklich fantastisch!
Meine Wenigkeit hatte einen Beilagensalat und den Rostbraten. Schön zart rosa gebraten mit einer leckeren Soße und Bratkartoffeln. Mein Begleiter hatte die Käsespätzle mit Salat. Die Käsespätzle waren sogar handgeschabt!
Die Bedienung war freundlich und der Chef ist auch ein ganz feiner Kerl und sehr nett. Er empfahl mir doch einen Schnaps. Haselnuss. Sehr lecker- ich bin eigentlich nicht so der schnapstrinker... aber Hmmm.. der war gut!
