Small (like 17 rooms), family run hotel with a wonderful Bernardine reception desk! Very cozy, with warm atmosphere - personally I was very nice surprised. 4 stars as there is no Wi-Fi!

Cozy and traditional family friendly feel, 100% recommended. They have wonderful dogs that help you to wake up in the morning when having breakfast and coffee:)

A super family-run hotel, ideally placed for a visit to Stuttgart as it's just a few minutes from the city centre by tram (which stops right by the hotel). My room was really comfortable - the mattress was just right and pillows were better than you get in most places. The room had a sofa, and a table which was more than big enough to work at, and the bathroom was large with a good shower. A great choice for a business trip or a short city break. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a business trip since most of the typical business friendly hotels were booked. The first thing I noticed is the hospitality, the owners are a very friendly couple willing to help with whatever you need, including the hotel dog who might come to check you out but is harmless. This is a more traditional German hotel versus any of the large chains. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. I stayed in a room with a private bathroom so I can't speak to the shared bathrooms. They explained that they're testing the Wi-Fi but I found it good most of the time, more so in my room versus the lobby. The best part was the breakfast which was made to order local eggs and meats and cheeses. I enjoyed the day to day conversations with the owners. I would gladly stay at Hotel Kohler again.
