Well worth your visit. Check out the floor plan before you go in. There might be some exhibits that come later that you may want to spend more time in. As you walk through everything is in chronological order. I enjoyed the neanderthal, Celts and Roman exhibits the most.

Good place to visit when you’re in Stuttgart. It is exactly adjacent to To the bus station, so you can easily open and half of if you are using public transport. The overall architecture of this place is very good. Love the place, definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Stuttgart for first time.

Great museum and very extensive and detailed. Also great for kids. We went during a citytrip with my son of 12 years.Entrance to the castle is for free. The exhibition about magical clocks was impressive.

The castle/museum cafe serves great cakes, sweet and savory ones.

We spent easily 3 hours there.
Worth the visit I would say.

We visited the Landesmuseum many years ago and forgot how amazing it was until we went again. I recommend it to all who visit Stuttgart.

Well maintained museum in Stuttgart which has good historical collection of Germany!!
Must visit place for antique lovers!!

Although the museum itself is beautiful and full of fascinating objects, the security was EXTREMELY unfriendly. We had our two small children with (with toys they were carrying to keep them entertained) and we also had two coffee thermoses which were completely sealed and in my wife's purse. In each exhibit we were harassed by the security and additionally told we couldn't visit the children's section if we were carrying the toys. Instead we left, and i would suggest that nobody visit with their family.

The museum is located at the historic city center, next to park, restaurants and fashion stores. It’s not huge but very cute, cozy, interesting and friendly.
You won’t regret the you spent there. Ticket price is very reasonable. Just check open hours before the visit.
