We ordered on the phone and wanted to pick up the food. The lady with glasses that works there was very very unfriendly on the phone. When we asked her why she was so unfriendly to her face she said it was because of her mask but did not have a mask on when talking to us in person. The food was horrible. Salad was warm. The Schnitzel was hard and dry. The fries had been warmed up and were also hard. We used to eat there often back before the new owners took over. The new owners have ruined this place. We will never eat there again.

French fries from the pack. My brother had the Jägerschnitzel. As a sauce there was instant gravy with mushrooms from the jar. It doesn't work at all and it didn't taste good either. On the positive side, I have to say that the meat was impeccable. That was good. The prices are too high. Overpriced at €15.50.
The environment is very nice, except for the highway noise, but that's not the restaurant's fault. You get used to it. Nicely furnished. I just found the chairs terribly uncomfortable. Very hard.
Our conclusion is that we probably won't go there anymore. Or at most for a beer, but then only in the pub.

Die Karte, die Speisen betreffend ist etwas altmodisch, was ich mag. Rahmschnitzel, Jägerschnitzel, Schnitzel, Steak, Salate, für jeden was dabei. Aber nun zum Essen. Ich hatte das Rahmschnitzel. Einfach, aber soweit ganz gut. Halt kein gourmet Essen. Mittelmaß, wie ein Kantinenschnitzel. Salat Rohkost aus dem Glas und 2 Blätter Kopfsalat , zuviel Essig. Pommes frites aus der Packung. Mein Bruder hatte das Jägerschnitzel. Als Sosse gab es Instant Bratensosse mit Pilzen aus dem Glas. Das geht gar nicht und hat auch nicht geschmeckt. Positiv muss ich feststellen dass das Fleisch einwandfrei war. Das war gut. Die Preise sind zu hoch. Mit 15,50 € überteuert.
Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, bis auf den Autobahnlärm, aber dafür kann das Restaurant nichts. Gewöhnt man sich dran. Schön eingerichtet. Nur die Stühle fand ich schrecklich unbequem. Sehr hart.
Unser Fazit ist, daß wir wohl nicht mehr hingehen. Oder höchstens auf ein Bier, aber dann nur im Lokal.
