I made the mistake of booking this hotel without reading the reviews first. We arrived at around 10pm, finding ourselves in front of a tiny parking lot full of cars and vans (parked in a double row, impossible to enter). The area is pretty terrifying, there were very bad urine smell outside. Check-in 24 hours a day is just a SELF check-in, when I called for assistance at 10:03 pm but they are available only until 10 pm. I wrote a message, I have not received an answer. Customer support nonexistent, we went to another hotel nearby and lost a lot of money. DO NOT book your stay in this "hotel"!

I was very grateful to Frau Balabanova for her help and information re various things and it made my stay more comfortable and manageable. Thank you! The room was spacious but the flooring is rather utilitarian even if it is very clean. Perhaps it is due for a refurb. And really appreciated the secure car parking. That's always a bonus.

Nice, clean rooms. The size is good and there is everything you need, although the whole interior is a bit old school. They got a nice breakfast buffet, where everyone might find something. But with 11 Euro per person it's a bit on the price side, compared to what they offer. The personal has always been nice and helpful.

My stay at the Hotel ibis Saarbruecken City was not the most pleasant experience... First off, the check in process took way longer than necessary. My room had a very foul odor to it as well, seemingly coming from the bathroom. And be advised, there is no a/c, and opening the window let in all kinds of outside noise. Overall, would definitely look for other options next time.

The rooms are quite shabby and the bathroom had a shower curtain. I have never seen this in a hotel. For the 92 euro we paid (incl parking) this was absolutely not worth the money. If expect this kind of 'luxury' in a hostel.

Good location in or rather near city centre. Room towards the street was unfortunately really noisy and rooms are a bit outdated and old fashioned as two single beds tend to be just put together, in a superior room, was bit disappointing. But for one night it's alright value I guess.

I would say the hotel was nice. It was completely worth its money as for me, but a friend of mine has a not-that-good room, like everything there was too old and needed to be replaced. That's why I give only 4 stars.
