This stylish cafe harks back to more elegant times when coffee houses were the thing among the better-off, it offers not only a telephone booth but also award winning cakes and other sweets. The interior fits its style and thus a must visit when it comes to coffee houses.

Friendly and helpful service. Bakery and seating area are clean on visual inspection. Cake/pie as well as drinks are served fast on clean plates and cups.

Some people bring dogs or baby carriages that do not really fit in the small corridors between tables.
Two entrances are also a bit confusing for some people as they do, or do not, pass the counter where you can order cake/pie.

All in all, very good.

It was our last day in Saarbrucken before getting our train back to Stuttgart. The cakes, coffee and service was excellent. Recommend Sektkorken and a fruchtschnitter.
