It could have been nicer id they could provide more English books. Three store bookshop and only 3 shelves English books.
Also, it would have been cool if they provide banks and table in the first floor like the one on the third floor.
Overall, I enjoy being there although I wished for more English books.

I love shopping with the app at Thalia. It is so easy to scan your products and pay with paypal or a credit card,, all without ever waiting in line. In addition to a wide variety of books, this store has a selection of high quality art supplies, including tombow brush pens. It also contains a travel agency in case you need some advice about your next vacation destination. The cafe on the second floor is cozy and offers some of there best desserts available in Saarbrücken.

I liked all Thalia bookshops I visited in Germany.
However, a thing they could improve is varying more the foreign books bookshelf... Over the last year I lived in Germany the selection of english books didn't change significantly (mostly fiction for teenagers).

Very friendly and helpful service! Assisted me with finding a large map, and very patient with my minimal German skills.

Very good selection of books and other periphinelia that may not eben be found in bigger cities such as Cologne.

The best part is that you can grab a book and go to their cafe that is situated on the first floor and read it there while drinking a bit of coffee and eating great cakes.

Staff member kept me waiting for my coffee while chatting to friends, although I had already been given my cake. Expensive. Will not visit there again, and would not recommend it either.
