The service and atmosphere are super! The salad was good, but I did not like the meat. The sauce and dumpling were really good, but the Schäufele meat was dry and tasted old.

Excellent food, excellent beer, and a welcoming atmosphere. Crispy pork shoulder (schaufele) was super tasty and a very good price for such a gourmet dish. A hidden gem.

Having missed the Greek place out of the Nurembergerland forests, disorientated, decided to stop over at this German place, for a change. I had my meal and two pils beers, which I enjoyed and then headed back into the forest. I noted the forest was not on fire like fire island

My wife and I were preparing for a trip to France. We didn't want to stay for a lunch in one of the Autohofs next to the highway. We wanted something special. Nuremberg was our half-way stop and we were planning to go through highway 9 to highway 6 so we were looking for something special in this area. After couple of minutes with TripAdvisor we found typical bavarian restaurant Zum Blauen Stern.

When we arrived, we found that it is located not in the center of city but on suburbs what is the big advantage (no traffic jams). There is a private parking for about 5 cars. Restaurant is divided into 2 parts: pub and main restaurant.

What was important for us, it is serving bavarian/german food. We ordered two schnitzels with potato salad. It was delicious! The meal was big, lots of kartoffelsalat. It was big but wasn't expensive. Everything was perfect. The only minus is that only cash is accepted.

It is worth to exit the highway and eat at the Zum Blauen Stern. If I will be driving through Nuremberg again, I will definitely visit this place again!

Food was good, small Sunday menu a plus, good selection, but they really need to get more service, just one waitress for the entire biergarten.

Serving good foods, good service, good attitude, u0026 very reasonable price. ???????????????? recommended to have lunch or dinner if you visit this small town in Nürnberg.
