Great place to eat, expect longer waits because it's super busy as I came here on the weekend. The food was great though pasta didnt cook all the way. Hard to find space to sit when it gets busy. Overall I like Vapiano.

Great food and ambience. I generally don't get good vegetarian options in nürnberg. But this place has great options for vegetarians. This place has self service so I suggest you grab a table first and then pick your food.

Food is OK and reasonable fast, but it's self service and drinks a bit expensive.

During our stay in Nürnberg we made two visits to this Vapiano - once for lunch and once for an evening meal. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the chefs engage with customers whilst food is prepared right in front of you at the various food 'bars'. At lunchtime we did not have to queue for our salads which were prepared quickly and very enjoyable, too. The queue time in the evening for the pasta bar was nearly fifteen minutes - rather too long really. Staffing the second chef station in the evening would make a huge difference (maybe something for the management to consider for the refurbished restaurant?). We did not let the long wait spoil the evening and the pasta dishes were actually very good indeed. Watching the food being prepared for you definitely gives you ideas to try at home.

The bar staff can serve a wide range of drinks and cocktails which are moderately priced.

NB: Since our visit the restaurant has been closed for refurbishment. Check the website for news about the reopening.

Fresh pizza, pasta, salads! Cooked to order, always eat here when I am in the city.

The pasta itself was not well cooked, it was raw. The ingredients can be considered as good.

The behaviour of the staff was quite nice.
2 stars for the food, an additional star for the stuff :)
