Since the machine was already old, I decided against repairing it and spontaneously bought a model 769, which, among other things, was supposed to be much quieter. I thought this was another marketing gimmick but when I first used the machine I was really surprised.

However, the two generations are worlds apart. The 769 is almost as quiet as a whisper compared to the 768. When I first used it, I really thought it was broken. ;-) As with the 768, I really like the illuminated spout. Just looks great.
I notice another difference that I think is very important: the brewing unit on the 769 model is very easy to remove and insert. The guidance is much better and the opening (see picture) clearly shows where the brewing group has to go.

The Nivona can do the usual coffee specialties, even though I only drink 95% Café Crema, but it's "nice to know" that you could if you wanted to. Similar to high-horsepower automobiles. ;-)
In addition, the Nivona offers the most important setting options for brewing excellent coffee. But I have to admit that I haven't found the option to adjust the water hardness yet. :-O

As with the 768, I really like the illuminated spout. Just looks great.

Für mich sind die NIVONA Kaffeevollautomaten die besten, die man für Geld kaufen kann. Hatte einige Jahre ein Modell 768 und diese hat Überspannung wegen Blitzeinschlag leider das zeitliche gesegnet.
Da die Maschine schon alt war habe ich mich gegen eine Reparatur entschieden und spontan ein Modell 769 gekauft, die ja unter anderem deutlich leiser sein sollte. Ich dachte das sei wieder so ein Marketing Gag, aber als ich die Maschine zum 1. Mal benutzte war ich wirklich sehr überrascht.

Zwischen den beiden Generationen liegen allerdings Welten. Die 769 ist quasi flüsterleise im Vergleich zur 768. Bei der 1. Nutzung dachte ich wirklich sie sei kaputt. ;-) Sehr gut gefällt mir, wie schon bei der 768, der beleuchtete Auslauf. Sieht einfach klasse aus.
Noch ein Unterschied fällt mir auf, den ich für sehr wichtig halte: die Brüheinheit ist beim Modell 769 sehr einfach zu entnehmen bzw. einzusetzen. Die Führung ist deutlich besser und die Öffnung (siehe Bild) zeigt klar wo die Brühgruppe hin muss.

Die Nivona kann die üblichen Kaffeespezialitäten, auch wenn ich zu 95% nur Café Crema trinke, aber es ist "nice to know", dass man könnte wenn man wollte. Ähnlich PS-starken Automobilen. ;-)
Zudem bietet die Nivona die wichtigsten Einstellmöglichkeiten um hervorragenden Kaffee zu brühen. Ich muss aber gestehen, dass ich die Einstellmöglichkeit für die Wasser härte noch nicht gefunden habe. :-o

Sehr gut gefällt mir, wie schon bei der 768, der beleuchtete Auslauf. Sieht einfach klasse aus.

NIVONA - definitiv ein Premium-Kaffeevollautomat, der viele Mitbewerber weit hinter sich lässt. Ich bleibe der Marke treu.

Now we have received back a completely overhauled machine - runs like new - and look forward to more years of Nivona coffee enjoyment!

Wir haben eine 7 Jahre alte Nivona ( baugleich zu NICR520 ) die täglich zuverlässig leckeren Espresso / Kaffee liefert. Da Nivonageräte selbst gut und einfach zu reinigen sind - incl. herausnehmbarer Brühgruppe !!! - hat man ein qualitativ hochwertiges und lange haltbares Produkt.
Bisher hatten wir keine Probleme, außer einem Bedienfehler, bei dem die Servicemitarbeiter uns telefonisch gut und gratis weiterhelfen konnten.
Jetzt nach 7 Jahren intensiver Nutzung musste die Brühgruppe erstmals ausgetauscht werden, was Nivona direkt im eigenen Servicecentrum nach Telefonat und Einsendung nach Nürnberg zum fairen Pauschalpreis sehr gut gemacht hat. Nun haben wir eine komplett überholte Maschine - läuft wie neu - zurück erhalten und freuen uns auf weitere Jahre Nivona Kaffeegenuss!

Qualität und Wertigkeit der Maschine (Nivona 858) lassen keine Wünsche offen! Haben uns damals gegen Mitbewerber entschieden, weil der Service von Nivona einen hervorragenden Ruf genießt. Nun musste ich die Maschine nach 4 Jahren das erste Mal zerlegen, weil der Kaffeeauslauf verstopft war. Was soll ich sagen, das ist noch Wertarbeit, die das Zerlegen einfach macht. So etwas ist in der heutigen Wegwerfgesellschaft eher selten. Der Support am Telefon und per Mail war WELTKLASSE! Ich wurde nicht im Regen stehen gelassen, als ich an einer Stelle mal nicht weiter kam, sondern zielführend unterstützt! Schlussendlich brauchte ich kein Ersatzteil für 6,43€ und konnte den Auslauf selbst reinigen. Die Maschine läuft wie am ersten Tag. Wir würden wieder eine Nivona kaufen und haben sie auch Freunden empfohlen. Deshalb kann ich einige Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen (fürchtet sich da die Konkurrenz)?
