The building is the finest item of display.. Superb sweeping lines both inside and out.. Some interesting pieces well displayed... What struck my companions and me was that the staff were a looming presence, keeping up a scrutiny which was a bit unsettling ; they seemed to be looking at the viewers as if we would make off with some exhibit! A little too intrusive presence

Very nice museum located just off the old town. Many good exhibitions. Plan for about an hour to tour the museum.

Unlike a previous review I did get an English translation, but I got a booklet when I bought my ticket for exhibitions on 1st and 2nd floor, with the 3rd floor having a4 sheets with info available in both English and German.

I was less into the gallery as it’s modern art and less to my taste, that said it’s all laid out quite well.

The museum, turned out to be also surprisingly good! Entry to permanent exhibition on Sunday is just 1 Euro, it's totally new, the rooms and huge and great and the curation was quite bold! And it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. Would totally recommend.

Exhibitions are in German with no english translation available sadly. The people that take care of the museum are very strict and that’s ok, but they interrupt you in the middle of your experience. I find the museum too expensive for what they offer.

Edit: I just want to add that they have a spectacular work of art: a cat drinking water or milk. It’s beautiful.

For all those people who loves and admires modern art. Very beautiful modern architecture of the building and interiors. Great collection of the modern art (paintings, graphics and installations).

Thoroughly enjoyed the contemporary modern artwork. Really spacious and every exhibit is so spatially well-arranged. Totally in love with the architecture as well.
