We had a total thyroid removal operation on Aug 30, 2022. It was a MIVAT surgery with nerve monitoring system. In theory, the chance of damaging the nerve is very low (5%). But, my wife’s nerve is still damaged. As a result, her vocal cord has been paralyzed until now. The operation doctor said their hospital has no way to examine the nerve or the vocal cord. The only way is to wait. We feel the doctor or the hospital could have been more proactive to follow up and help their patients.

During the stay at the hospital, the nurses were really friendly. This is a positive point.

We forgot our bills in more than 500 km. we came to this hospital in a hope to find a doctor who can give us a simple recipe. It is not a dangerous bills but a kind of contraceptives that requires a recipe. And we got a rejection, a simple: “ we don’t care, find a praxis”. Which was not possible on a Saturday evening. I had a suspicion that I have a tick, which I could found in the forest. Personnel admitted me on Saturday. Everything was very pleasant. People were kind to me. Moreover, they spoke English.

Extremely helpful and kind. I checked in with acute lower back pain which prevented me from walking, sitting etc. The IV drip was administered at the speed of light. The doctor visited me every 10mins to check on me.

Einen Kritikpunkt gibt es allerdings doch, das ausgewählte Essen hat man selten so bekommen wie "bestellt ".Hier könnte noch nachgebessert werden....
