This is a very beautiful and creative place. I like the Japanese elements here and the relaxing atmosphere plus very nice personal. Food in the restaurant is also good. I enjoyed my stay here while participating in a business training course.

Very nice hotel with cozy meeting places inside and outside. The restaurant is great and one of the best in the area. You can sit outside in restaurant and you can enjoy your breakfast on a rooftop terrace. Very professional and friendly staff.
Rooms are a bit diffuse, but have some nice details and cool features to discover. The area around is boring, but it is perfect to have business meetings here or to escape the city noise, when you stay in Nürnberg, Fürth or Erlangen.

The staff are just incredible! From the moment we reached the hotel till we left they were so friendly ???? On the phone, Tina u0026 Jana have already been so engaged and gave us different options. They surprisingly upgraded our ryokan room to a suite for no extra cost. It was super clean, cosy, had an amazing view on the pond as well as a relaxing bathtub. The food was scrumptious ???? Rosina brought us a chocolate dessert for breakfast that was just mouthwatering! A lot of the food is organic quality, they have vegan options and you immediately feel comfortable within the restaurants design.
I've stayed at 5* hotels before, but this place definitely exceeds that already!

Unfortunately we had no warm water on our room (Weinhaus) from 0-11 am, but still had to pay the full price as we kindly asked for price reduction.

We are crazy about Japan (have been there several times) and were looking for a quiet hotel outside of Nürnberg, so we thought that these Ryokan-style rooms were a great choice. Though the rooms were OK (clean and in good maintenance), there is hardly anything "ryokan-style" about them except for the small japanese garden out of the window: normal bed (no futon) and bad pillow, no bathtub (furo), any cosmetics besides hand soap were to be paid on the side (a 50ml shampoo bootle was 4,90€), no amenities for tea, etc. We also couldn't have dinner at the restaurant, as two parties (a wedding and something else) were taking place - making it quite loud in the afternoon/early evening. The staff was OK but no one offered to show us our room, least of it take our bags (the room was on the 2nd floor through a metal, narrow staircase, hidden at the back of the building). Breakfast was disappointing as the group from the previous evening arrived just before we did and many items (eggs, bacon, etc.) were gone. Though signage was abbundant, very few guests actually wore masks or respected social distancing of 1,5m, especially during breakfast.
To reach the city center, you must take the car or a cab.
