Hotel Motel One Nürnberg-City

I went there with a friend, the room was beyond our highest expectations, everything looked modern and clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bath was super pretty. I appreciate the folded tip on the toilet paper, it looked so cute. Got everything for a great price and I'm super happy I got to stay there for the night. Will probably go there again, next time I'm in the city :) lots of love to the staff

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast - all in all it is a nice hotel. But who would stay in a room which is barely larger than my shower at home for nearly 200€/night. Even though I've been to Nürnberg during and for visiting the fair, the price is incredibly high.
House itself is all fine and far beyond from what you expect from a "Motel", but that doesn't justify the price of a Steigenberger.

Room was pretty nice and clean, but unfortunately very warm in the night (even though it was much colder outside). I asked at the reception and said the room is way too warm, the man was just nodding, said "sorry about that " and explained to me that their AC doesn't really cool - "its not that kind of AC"? Anyway, make sure you ask for a room on the street side and not the back side, otherwise you get to listen to loud freight trains all night long because opening a window is the only way to cool the room to a reasonable sleeping temperature. Who needs more than 2 hours of sleep anyway?

The rooms are nice and clean, the hotel is in a good location and seems to move around the city. However, the service is terrible. First of all, they couldn't find us in the system at check-in because she kept using the wrong name, and even though it was their mistake, they gave us a terrible attitude. Come to the second day of our stay; we are in the bar area, where they have menus out and seem to be open; we go to order a drink and something small to eat; most rudely, the staff says, "I am too busy to do that", there was no one else here... they then proceed to be busy by chatting with each other.

Rooms a bit small, but perfect location and very good value for money.

Nice place. I saw unwanted people in late night that were friends of FDO and unpleasant with the guests in the lounge.

Met with some friends in the Cloud One Bar. We had a great time. Waitress and Barkeeper were excellent, especially with our 4 year old kid. The cocktails were outstanding. We even got drinks that were not on the menu. Will be back for sure.
