This cute little market made me feel that I am living in medieval times. It is close to Nürnberg Hauptbahnof station and inside of it, you see many shops selling souvenirs and other handicrafts.
I had a wholesome meal - sausages with cabbage salad (sauerkraut), potato salad and horseradish, and small glass of Tucher beer which costed me 18.80 EUR.
Loved sausages, potato salad and sauerkraut. This dish and wine was nürnberg specific which gave a special touch to the experience.

cool, atmospheric place between the historic city walls, a medieval street with stalls, shops and bars. You can feel the atmosphere of old times and eat something good.

Amazing medieval area with interesting architecture in the heart of Nuremberg.
There are many gift shops and beer gardens in there.

It was fun to meander through the handful of shops, but unfortunately we had a bad experience with one of the shop owners. We wanted to purchase something from the wood working shop, but the clerk kept yelling "no (nein)" at us every time we picked up something to look at it. She was too busy having a conversation with the clerk from one of the other shops to want to help us. Hopefully this was just a one-time incident here. It did seem like it was only a problem with this one shop...the other shop owners at least offered a smile or "hello". There were a variety of handmade items here that looked like they would have been wonderful gifts or souvenirs from our trip.

Not as medieval as you would think, but it’s quite interesting for a 30min visit if you are the train station with extra time on your hands! There’s some restaurants too! A few handicrafts shops
