The place was very authentic. It has a medieval atmosphere. We went in without reservation, we were very happy that there were a group of people that were willing to share their table with us. We ordered the flammenkuchen and we enjoyed it till the last bite. They also sell Honey beer, it made the entire dining experience complete.

The service was excellent, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Food arrived very quick. If we ever visit Neurenberg again, we would definitely visit this place.

Great place with a lot of character. We tried Mead, flammkuchen and a selection of sausages. Mead was great and the food was delicious.

Very good cheese fondue, very filling, very nice homemade bread with sausages.

Beautiful place.

A real experience in the most beautiful area of Germany’s most beautiful city. Can’t get much better than this for a few drinks.

We arrived without reservation, but they accepted and greeted us fully welcome.

The set the two of us at others people table (with their permission ofcourse). It was a big table, but still happy about the great people. The people that work there and come there as guests.

Really good atmosphere, great style and perfect food and beers. Absolute recommendation to everyone who visits this area and wants to experience some original German food and atmosphere. Also compliments to the extremely friendly employees.

Food and beer was pretty good and reasonably priced, unique and good flavor. However, our beef stew was barely warm, and we ordered tap water but they charged us €7.40 for 1 liter of “bottled” water. As long as you don’t order their magic water, you’ll enjoy it.

This was a unique dining experience. The entire restaurant was modeled after a medieval setting and food. The menu was essentially plates of cheese or sausage, stew or a flatbread with cheese. It was a lovely atmosphere just off the square.
