I have just had the most amazing meal of my life in here. The staff were so friendly. Managed to accommodate us even without a reservation. The house brewer beer was very good. We had a starter each which was very tasty. But the sous vide roast beef. Oh my goodness it was epic. The portions were all very generous. Would highly recommend eating here. If I’m back in Nuremberg this will be my first port of call

Hotel and restaurant in the same building. Great location for a visit to Nuremberg! Rooms are clean, expensive materials everywhere. Pleasant staff and service. I really liked the atmosphere - it has, you feel at home) The restaurant has delicious dishes. Excellent location - center, train station and a lot of transport in 5 minutes walk.

Be aware of the their tactics to charge extra money. One waiter charged me a glass of water for 3 euro, told me it’s from bottle water, but I didn’t order it. And it’s common sense that the bottle should be given to costumers if ordered. They knew we are tourists! After my complaint, the waiter waived the charge. I deemed it an intentional deed.
Also the waiter took order by memory, so they sent us wrong food, though we took it.

Nice beers, they produce own beers. Smoke dark beer suggested and it has unique aroma. But we a bit disappointed from attitude of some waiters. Boys were not really seem happy while they were brought our orders. We asked to pay separate while friends have to leave. We asked for bill he came and collect two and then disappeared other two friends waited 15 min. for him or other crew but they even didn't look on our side. Finally friends paid to me because I decided to stay. When they left somehow he appeared again, I told him that I don't want to occupy 5 people table I can switch for another table and I did. Then I ordered a cheese platter and waited almost 20 min. I was observing that next tables even who came after got their drinks and food. I reminded him, he just give a look and said it's preparing and hooops platter arrived in 2 min. During all these processes I was polite because we are also working in service sector so know how to act customers and what we expect. We think they were not polite to us when compare other customers, we don't look German and we don't speaks German. First time I experienced such discriminative action. Out of the story place is really nice and beers are delicious.

Great place for dinner in a modern location. We reserved upfront and first it seemed empty but in just half an hour it was really busy. The food was great (traditional food of the region), drinks really good and the service really exceptional. Friendly all the time, looking after us and checking from time to time if everything's alright. They gave good advice on what to choose as well. Therefore I could try this nice gin I've never tasted before. I can really recommend this place and am definitely going back.

I was a little skeptical to stay here as it looked slighly quirky. I stay in Nuremberg regularly for business and this was my first experience with Bruderherz. The location is great, central with trains station 4 minutes walk away (Lorenzkirche station). For those going to an exhibition at Messe it is just 7 stops away. The room was very clean, quite basic and met my needs. I did opt for the cheapest single room. The doubles look far nicer. The jewel in the crown here is the bar/restaraunt although beware it doesnt open until 11am. The staff are wonderful and the food is absolutely superb. It is very busy with locals every day which tells you something. I had read some negative reviews from groups who couldnt get seated. I had no such issue and was offered food at the bar when all the tables were taken. I thoroughly reccomend the fried chicken salad which was huge and really tasty! Hats off to the chef. The bar staff and waiting staff were kind and attentive despite being very busy. I will definitely go back.

Good food (I had the lemon chicken which was nicely cooked and tasty, they swapped the potatoes for a salad for me). Waiter was friendly and helpful translating the menu.
