Absolutely beautiful amber collection is present in this museum. Lots of forms, colours, types of processing. This museum is highly recommended to visit in Nuremberg. Thank you for this fantastic exposition! Also there is a shop with huge assortment of amber jewellery

A short walk from other attractions, this place is definitely worth the visit!! Beautiful display u0026 knowledgable owner ready to answer any question and provide a ton of additional information. He speaks English, too. There are many pieces of raw and polished amber in all kinds of colors, from yellow to honey orange to deep red, but there are also unusual blue and green-tinted pieces too. And so many statues, jewellery, tiny chessboard, several pirate ship models, there's even a dragon. You will not know what to look at first. :) And if you can, do bring some money with you, because the jewellery they sell is stunning!

Amazing collection! Highly recommended! The owner is very friendly and provide all the information. Even kid likes this. The products in the shop are also good quality with reasonable price! Nice museum for everyone!

The museum is very interesting and has a surprising variety of amber. The owner was also wonderfully nice, and can speak English if needed. The museum and shop are quite small, but it is also very close to many other interesting sites, and so if you have about an hour or so to spare it is definitely worth stopping by.
