Based on the other reviews I had high hopes for this place. After having visited I walk away with the impression that the other reviewers have low expectations and have never had real empanadas. Let's start with the seating. Inside is extremely hot. Outside you are bathed odor of the cooking grease. The shell of the empanadas is the highlight. Don't think I have ever said that before. The shell is a standout. Unfortunately, it is let down by uninspired filling. Someone seems to have tried to hit the easy button vs actually putting in any effort. The kitchen seems to be overwhelmed if they receive more than a 1/2 order at a time. Be prepared for a very long wait if others are ordering. This is calibrated to the local norms. Then there is the price. Looks very favorable on the menu. Then when you receive your order. You realize how little you are actually getting for the money. Rather over priced given the quality and portion size. If I could, I would rate the experience a 2.5. as that is not possible. I will round up
