We ( a group of your guests) reserved a table on the 4th of September in order to redeem a Groupon voucher for "All you can eat spare ribs" last evening, 11th of September at 1800h. As we had to quote the reference number for that voucher the place was well informed about what we would order on that evening. When we arrived we were shown to our place. We had to wait a couple of minutes before someone took the order. For some more time we had to wait for our first cocktails to arrive that are highly overpriced and not anything special in comparison to other places in that areas like the Besitos or Aposto. We ordered our spare ribs at 1810h and only after asking the unfriendly and "I-cannot-be-bothered-to-work-today"-staff at 1835h and the manager at 1855h at what time our food would finally find its way from the kitchen to our table; we got our food at 1910h. 60 min for spare ribs - all you can eat - what a joke. The place obviously had quite a few problems in the kitchen, as our reservation for that voucer was changed before hand at 1545h on that Saturday. We were informed that they could not serve fries with the offer as the deep frier was broken. Instead we had the choice of salad, vegetables or barbecued vegetables. The latter once hardly offered more than cheap to buy onions as the main ingredient.
Working myself in the customer services for 25 years, also in restaurants and conference centres I personally can judge the quality of the service and food we received. It was appalling. Neither the staff nor the manager were able to handle this situation. No apologies but instead we just heard poor justifications that there was so much to do.
Despite the necessity of wearing masks, a friendly staff's smile by some genuine eye mimics to us in combination with an honest explanation rather than pure justification would have been appreciated by the four of us.
Carrying on a service and quality like that the place will definitely not survive another lock down.
