Ich War mit Freunden dort und hatte reserviert leider wurde unser Tisch an wen anderes weitergegeben. Also hieß es warten. Nach mehreren malen böse schauen kam der Kellner und entschuldigte sich mehrmals. Was uns aber nichts nutzte. Wir wollten vorher griechisch essen gehen. Hätten wir das mal gemacht. Ich hatte Pizza. Naja hatte schon bessere. Mein bekannter Nudeln (13.50 euro) dafür War die Portion recht klein. Ich komme aus den ehemaligen Ostern. So ein Service könne man sich da nicht erlauben. Nie wieder da hin.

Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren mit einer 10 Personen Gruppe dort. Wir hatten vorher reserviert und man erwartete uns bereits am Tisch. Beide Kellner waren auf zack und sehr freundlich.
Sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptspeisen waren quer durch die Bank richtig gut. Alles Gänge wurden zeitgleich serviert und alle Extrawürste wurden beachtet. Danke, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Last but not least, when we wanted to pay, it was said that it would be very nice if we would please leave the shop - they would like to give the table to someone else. At this point in time, however, we had not yet completely drunk.
Highly recommend everyone to avoid this place. There are far better restaurants and bars in Münster than this one!

Eigentlich wollten wir mit einer Gruppe ins Mocca D'Or. Da dort leider für die Adventswochenende kein Tisch mehr für viele Personen zu bekommen war, empfahl die Dame am Telefon das Caffe del Popolo.
Der ganzen Abend entwickelte sich dann aber leider zu einem Desaster. Der Keller hat es nicht geschafft, 15 Personen die richtigen Getränke zu bringen, einige Getränke kamen sogar erst, nachdem wir die Rechnung bereits beglichen hatten - etwa 5 Personen bekamen nach einer langen Wartezeit die völlig falschen Getränke. Da wir aber gerne irgendwann anstoßen wollten, haben wir die Getränke dann angekommen.
Noch bevor alle überhaupt Getränke hatte, bekamen die ersten schon ihr Essen - einige bekamen ihr Essen leider gar nicht.
Der Service war eine absolute Katastrophe, die Pizza maschig und das Bier schal. Und das für solche Preise.
Zu guter letzt, als wir bezahlen wollten, hieß es dann, dass es sehr nett sei, wenn wir den Laden bitte direkt verlassen - sie möchten den Tisch direkt weiter vergeben. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten wir allerdings teilweise noch gar nicht ganz ausgetrunken.
Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, diesen Laden zu meiden. In Münster gibt es weitaus bessere Restaurants und Lokale als dieses!

The pizzas came 2 minutes before the starter, when I pointed out that there should be another starter, we were advised that the pizzas shouldn't get cold. The waitress apologized half-heartedly, but that's it. The starter plate was delicious but rather unloving. We also received no bread as a starter. When ordering wine, I asked to be able to taste the wine beforehand. The waiter promised me this, but the waitress then came directly with the full glass. Luckily the wine tasted good, but ignoring such a simple wish is really a damper. Unfortunately none of the waiters tried to make up for it all. Instead we felt that we were being avoided. Fortunately we had a voucher, otherwise I would have been really annoyed with such an expensive evening. The food was delicious, but we will not be going back.

Wir waren bereits öfter hier und eigentlich immer zufrieden. Diese Woche jedoch lief so ziemlich alles schief. Wir bestellten eine Vorspeise und zwei Pizzen. Die Pizzen kamen 2 Minuten vor der Vorspeise, als ich darauf hinwies, dass noch eine Vorspeise kommen sollte, wurden wir darauf verwiesen, dass die Pizzen ja nicht kalt werden sollten. Die Kellnerin entschuldigte sich zwar halbherzig, aber das wars auch. Der Vorspeisenteller war lecker aber ziemlich lieblos. Wir erhielten auch kein Brot zur Vorspeise dazu. Bei der Weinbestellung bat ich darum, den Wein vorher probieren zu können. Dies wurde mir vom Kellner zugesagt, jedoch kam die Kellnerin dann direkt mit dem vollen Glas. Zum Glück schmeckte der Wein, aber einen so simplen Wunsch so zu ignorieren,das ist schon echt ein Dämpfer. Leider hat keiner der Kellner versucht, das alles wieder gut zu machen. Stattdessen hatten wir das Gefühl, um uns wurde ein Bogen gemacht. Glücklicherweise hatten wir einen Gutschein, sonst hätte ich mich bei einem so teuren Abend wirklich noch mehr geärgert. Das Essen war lecker, aber wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

When addressing the staff, it was initially assumed that we had placed our orders incorrectly. An apology from the staff was out of the question. The first pizza came after 1.5 hours. It was the wrong pizza. This was initially denied by the staff ("No, that's the right pizza"). Since we are (were) regular customers at Mocca D'or, we knew exactly what this pizza should look like (a look at the menu was not even necessary). The obviously annoyed staff reluctantly took the pizza back and after a further wait brought the missing pizzas. I myself had ordered a pizza with salami. Unfortunately, the ingredient "salami" was also missing here. When I pointed this out, the waitress replied very irritably "Then I'll go into the kitchen and cut salami for you". Apart from the outrageous reaction, I was quite astonished that they did not offer the production of a new pizza (after the long wait I would have done without it, but an apology would have been the least). Shortly afterwards I received a plate of cold, spicy salami. This was placed next to my pizza without comment. I was speechless.
The rest of the group was of course long finished with the meal so I left it alone and ate my pizza without salami.
When I paid later, they actually wanted to invoice me separately for the salami. This time I was not speechless (very friendly and matter-of-fact) and pointed out to the Lord that his behavior was inappropriate. If I order a pizza tonno and the tuna has been forgotten, surely I won't get a can of tuna next to the pizza !? Then I was delighted with the words "I'm the managing director here and have been doing this for 6 years. The door is there, get out of here". I left the restaurant immediately and will neither recommend it nor plan an event there again.
It is a shame for the figurehead of the Mocca D'or restaurant which I have been visiting regularly for years. The levelless and anti-social behavior of the managing director would not even be suitable for a fast food business and cannot be surpassed in terms of incompetence.
I am well aware that the Christmas season in particular demands an increased level of stress on the part of the service staff, and not just in the catering sector. Mistakes are made, waiting times are getting longer. Nevertheless, there should be no lack of a friendly and competent appearance on the part of the service staff.

Münster is a beautiful city with great bars and restaurants. So far I have spent all business meetings as well as private events in the Mocca D'or. Since the Caffe del Popolo belongs to the Mocca D`or, I will book a different location in the future.
The "Moro" at the Aasee or "Cafe Med" at the harbor offer the same quality goods. So far we have been able to meet trained, friendly staff there!
Dear Mocca D`or, the behavior of the described employee (managing director) of your "branch" is a shame and not worthy of the reputation of the Mocca D`or.

Wir waren mit einer großen Personengruppe anlässlich der Weihnachtsfeier einer Abteilung unserer Firma in dieser Lokalität. Leider war das Mocca D´or ausgelastet. Bereits bei der Bestellung bestach die Servicekraft mit Unfreundlichkeit. Nach ca. einer Stunde Wartezeit kamen die ersten Gerichte. Drei Hauptgerichte fehlten. Nach mehrfacher!!! Ansprache bei dem Personal wurde zunächst unterstellt, dass wir unsere Bestellungen falsch aufgegeben hätten. An eine Entschuldigung seitens des Personals war nicht zu denken. Nach 1,5 Stunden kam die erste Pizza. Dabei handelte es sich um die falsche Pizza. Dies wurde von dem Personal zunächst geleugnet ("Nein, das ist die richtige Pizza"). Da wir Stammkunden im Mocca D´or sind (waren) wussten wir jedoch sehr genau, wie diese Pizza auszusehen hat (ein Blick in die Karte war nicht mal notwendig). Das offenkundig genervte Personal nahm widerwillig die Pizza zurück und brachte nach einer weiteren Wartezeit die fehlenden Pizzen. Ich selbst hatte eine Pizza mit Salami bestellt. Leider fehlte auch hier die Zutat "Salami". Als ich darauf aufmerksam machte, antwortete die Servicekraft sehr gereizt "Dann geh ich jetzt in die Küche und schneide dir Salami". Abgesehen von der unverschämten Reaktion war ich recht erstaunt, dass man nicht die Fertigung einer neuen Pizza anbot (Nach der langen Wartezeit hätte ich darauf verzichtet, eine Entschuldigung wäre jedoch das Mindeste gewesen). Kurz darauf erhielt ich einen Teller mit kalter, scharfer Salami. Kommentarlos wurde mir dieser neben meine Pizza gestellt. Ich war sprachlos.
Der Rest der Gruppe war selbstverständlich lange fertig mit dem Essen sodass ich es darauf beruhen ließ und meine Pizza eben ohne Salami aß.
Beim späteren Bezahlen wollte man mir die Salami tatsächlich extra in Rechnung stellen. Diesmal war ich nicht sprachlos (sehr wohl freundlich und sachlich) und gab dem Herrn zu bedenken, dass sein Benehmen nicht angebracht sei. Wenn ich eine Pizza Tonno bestelle und der Thunfisch vergessen wurde, bekomme ich doch auch keine Dose Thunfisch neben die Pizza gestellt!? Daraufhin wurde ich mit den Worten "Ich bin hier der Geschäftsführer und mache das seit 6 Jahren. Dort ist die Tür, hau ab" beglückt. Ich habe das Lokal umgehend verlassen und werde es weder weiter empfehlen, noch jemals wieder eine Veranstaltung dort planen.
Es ist eine Schande für das Aushängeschild des Restaurants Mocca D´or welches ich seit Jahren regelmäßig besuche. Das niveaulose und asoziale Benehmen des Geschäftsführers wäre nicht mal für ein Fast Food Geschäft tauglich und ist an Inkompetenz nicht zu überbieten.
Mir ist durchaus bewusst, dass insbesondere die Weihnachtszeit ein erhöhter Stresslevel bei den Servicekräften -nicht nur in der Gastronomie- einfordert. Es werden Fehler gemacht, die Wartezeiten werden länger. An einem freundlichen und kompetenten Auftreten seitens der Servicekräfte darf es dennoch nicht mangeln.

Münster ist eine wunderschöne Stadt mit tollen Lokalen und Restaurants. Bisher habe ich alle Geschäftstermine sowie auch private Veranstaltungen im Mocca D´or verbracht. Da das Caffe del Popolo zum Mocca D`or gehört, werde ich zukünftig eine andere Lokalität buchen.
Das "Moro" am Aasee oder "Cafe Med" am Hafen bieten qualitativ die gleichen Waren. Dort haben wir bisher geschultes, freundliches Personal antreffen können!
Liebes Mocca D`or, das Verhalten des beschriebenen Mitarbeiters (Geschäftsführers) eurer "Zweigstelle" ist eine Schande und dem Ruf des Mocca D`ors nicht würdig.
