Hidden gem. Service is very good for a foreigner like me (this is not so common from my experience).

Saw them helping the elders to even get comfy. Truly a place with great food, beer and warm service.

A really friendly wirtshaus, with a large amount of indoor seating space.

The food was fresh and had very large portions. I found the menu slightly difficult to read, as some of the menu options were a bit vague and others were very detailed. The food was not all to my taste in the end, however I wouldn’t downrate based on my personal taste. The pretzels were gorgeous and I could have eaten my body weight in those alone.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the decor was unusual but very nice! Everything seemed clean and tidy. The service was prompt after the order was taken, thought there was a slight wait before the menus came and orders placed. I think there are a high number of regulars and they take priority slightly.

I would come back for drinks and pretzels! My partner enjoyed his pork!

Good, simple restaurant. Starts you off with warm pretzels and follows up with the typical Bavarian menu. There are good vegetarian options and salad choices as well. Extensive beverage options.

It is a nice, neighborhood walk from the train (U2 line) station on a quiet, well lit street. The walk back was well needed after the giant meal of pork knuckle and dumpling I had for dinner. Come with an appetite, or a container to take your meal home with you!

The service staff appeared quite busy and inattentive upon initial arrival, however service improved once we were seated. The food came out quickly and was pleasant enough, but nothing particular to write home about. The salad was fresh but lacked zest. The chicken had a rubber feel about it like processed meat which didn’t appeal to me and the Bratkartoffeln had an underlying day-old potato taste. But the food wasn’t particularly expensive. So if you like a casual pub feel then it is a nice enough place to come.
