I saw this place while taking a tramway nearby and thought I’d give it a try, since I had never experienced Uyghur cuisine before.

The restaurant looks very nice and elegant, although I wouldn’t call it fancy. No need to dress up or anything. It’s just well thought out and decorated.

The food is pretty simple, which is not a bad thing per se, but when it comes to simple dishes you expect the execution and flavors to be pretty nice. My dish, however, was lukewarm, inconsistently seasoned, and the rice tasted like it had been premade and left there for a while. Very unremarkable. Also priced a bit on the expensive side for what it offers. My girlfriends lamb dish was a bit better seasoned, but lacked allure. We had some dumplings as appetizers which were good.

Nothing of note about the service, it was polite and fast enough. Check it out if you want a taste of Uyghur food, but don’t go in with high expectations.

The Uyghur ethnic minority is predominately Muslim and so its cuisine is Halal, it is influenced by central Asian and Turkic tradition. Its cumin lamb, hand-pulled noodles, steamed buns, dumplings, spiced skewers are very popular in Mainland China. This place offers authentic Uyghur cuisine, its cumin lamb(Kanzan Kawab) and kesme Lagman (din-din) are super delicious.

That said l, it is a bit pricey for what is everyday cooking of Uyghur people and the lunch menu is much cheaper but the food is not the same, lamb meat is very chewy, almost uneatable (see last pic)

Worse, sometimes I find their service daunting as they have a way to make you feel that you Never order enough, and they would ask for tip (or don’t give you change back) even you do takeaways, reminds me of my traumatic experience in Shanghai with Uyghur people.

Fancy looking place, good location. The service is not attentive - we got to go inside to ask for the bill. Not everything in the menu was available for order. Our meal came lukewarm. Lagman taste was not distinctive. In my opinion the place is overpriced for this food quality/quantity.

I love this place! I got to know this fantastic uyghur restaurant in the previous location and I was truly sad when it closed down. Finally they reopened in a central area, great job reinventing the space inside. Modern, fancy, well decorated and with some traditional touches here and there. The only thing that didn’t change is the food...DELICIOUS! Try the house specially: handmade Nudels with meat and vegetables. You will be surprised by this hidden gem ????

Tasty asian food at Isartor, they were previously located at Hauptbahnhof and now moved. The food is still tasty as ever and if you like asian fusion this is the place for you. The lagma is homemade noodles with lamb meat, it is there signature dish and tastiest. I also definitely recommend additional lamb skewers. Lamb meat is the house speciality. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place serves fake Uygurish food. The food they serve is not at all authentic. The dishes are overpriced and the quantity is extremely less. If you visit this place then you are paying money only for it's ambience because the service too is not good. There are two other Uygurish restaurants in Munich I highly recomend the other two. 100% disappointment.
