I was there was just coffee and were sited outside and it was a nice experience! I wonder why there are some negative reviews. I found the place warm and staff very friendly. Coffee was nice and I think they have a really rich Menu ! I hope to visit to try other things .

First of all, I haven't tried out their food yet so I can only tell you about their service and the ambiance, drinks are also good. The service is average there, nothing over the top but also not bad. They don't come outside too often, which is fair because it was a cold winter day.I like that you can sit outside even on cold days. It's a seating area similar to Paris from the furniture and good for people watching. They offer you blankets and they also have outdoor heaters installed but unfortunately they were turned off on a sunny day with 1°C. I never really sit inside. It's not as pleasant as outside and you can enjoy the sun from the morning until around 3pm before it hides behind the buildings.

Waiter certainly needs a few extra classes in hospitality. He had no patience and began walking away twice while I was trying to finish saying my order. Was shocked by how unnecessarily rude and passive aggressive he was when I misspoke and ordered the wrong item on the menu. He also began making rude comments about my looks and how I shouldn’t order from a restaurant looking sad—that I need to be happier and therefore service would improve...? Unbelievable. Additionally, the cheesecake was completely inedible. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a literal pile of hardened cream cheese on a plate. Spare yourself and do not go to Soda. They need to get it together before any new customers show up.

Big selection of breakfasts and meals (mainly sandwiches and burgers). Very satisfying. It’s very well located in the heart of the munich students district, so it’s a Place to see and be Seen.
The staff is very welcoming and nice. Will and would definitely go there again.

We were there yesterday (Sunday) around 12h with group of 8 people. The food was very good. However the waiter who received us was quite unfriendly. Forgot our order and didn’t give any reaction when we trying to talk to him, because of that we don’t know if our order was taken or not. After pay the bill, we waited for one of our friend who went to the bath room in front of the restaurant, he came out and asked us what we are doing there in a very unfriendly tone. Very strange experience.

Terrible service, unfriendly waiters and manager who did not have the patience to take our order. Definitely will not go back nor would we recommend it. Customer is always king and if it takes 40 seconds longer to place an order surely a waiter should be understanding? Clearly they don't need the customers.
