Please never use Sixth. The service and client support is ridiculously bad. We ve chooses Sixth over more economic rental for device, which unfortunately disappeared from this company.
We have rented car in Paris airport
- there was a 2 hours wait on the counter to get a car which made us miss our appointment. The service was slow and no one apologized for the wait.
- after month of rental we were charged additional 500 euros with no explanation - after a week of calls, emails and visits to the sixth they understood that they did a mistake. For all time spent following extra charge - no sorry and no discount to apologize for time wasted solving their mistake

Pick up in Munchen went off without a hitch. Car was perfect and excellent service was provided. Car drop off in Milan was terrible. Airport signage didn’t direct to Sixt drop off location which was separate from all other rental car locations. Unless you have been there before, returning a Sixt car rental to Milan Airport (MXP) is so convoluted, that you are screwed.

Einfach nicht empfehlenswert!
I had an extremely bad experience with this Sixt Filiale in Lehel.
I had initially planned to return the car in the morning at 9h but just for convenience it was better for me to return it on the previous day in the evening. Actually i was told that 24h return would be possible so never thought it could be an issue. So i returned the car at 19h and the station was already closed (different service hours due to COVID that i was not expecting). I parked the car anyway in front of the station , again as i was told by the Sixt MA, and sent an email with a photo as confirmation. On the following day i received a call from another Sixt MA confirming that my email was acknowledged and everything was ok with the car. Surprisingly in the invoice received later it was billed a 49,99€ fee due to "Out of hours" Return. Well just multiple layers of frustration here.
P.S. I am Sixt client since years and never had such problems with other stations like Messestadt M. Suggestion, please avoid these colleagues in Level !!

I am done with Sixt. I was a great customer, and I am onto their scams. Renter beware. I rent from this company several times a year. Here is what you need to beware of. They up sell you hard, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. They will try anything to get more money out of you. I have spent over $1000 in the last 4 weeks with SIXT. Yesterday I dropped of another rental. This car had 2000 miles on it. Clean as a whistle. I drove it maybe 40 miles total. When I got back to drop it off, the representative went over the car to look for damage. He found a ding the size of an ice cream sprinkle. He marked it and took a picture. This was on the inside door jam. No way did I do this. I felt as though he had to find something on me. Very strange. I will never use this company again. I have used it in Europe and the US. I am done. I felt like I was being treated like a second class citizen rather than the great customer I was. Anyways, be careful, take videos, and pics of the entire car before leaving the lot. Anything not documented will be your fault. Thank god I have video of everything so I am covered, but most people would not know to do this. Check out these pics. What a joke!!

It’s nice rental company I’m a member with them for many years and this branch have a very nice staff and Special recommendation to Mr. Ibishi for all his help and services. I highly recommend this branch and ask for mr. Ibishi

I booked a car on 14th to travel from Munich to Frankfurt for business reason. I arrived at the Sixt branch in Munich at 5.50 am and even if I tried to enter inside as I saw an employee, he instructed me to stay outside until they open at 6am, while outside the temperature was 3 degrees of Celsius at the time.
However, the worst part is that after this, when it was finally 6am sharp and I could enter, I was simply informed that the car was not ready and I have to wait until it get cleaned and prepared. No prior notice was given for this delay. I was late for my job in Frankfurt 45 minutes after all.
I guess Sixt is very precise regarding time when it has to leave you out in the freezing cold but not so much when they have to hand over the cars.
Really not recommended to anyone!
