Loved it! ❤️ Small but nice. Great collection. Definitely a must see in Munich. Also entrance is free.

Nice free museum with a few impressive fossils. It is pretty small, spread on 4 floors. You can visit it in 30 min. It is an old-style museum, somehow lacking a thematic path.

Important: This museum it's also open the 1 Sunday of each month.

Great museum, the exhibition it's a bit small but with really good fossils.

It's perfect for a visit with kids or family or even alone if you like Dinosaurs and Minerals.

It's basically nothing there and a one whole floor was closed off. The notice was of course not posted on the main door. Not worth your time.

Nice for a quick outting and it's free. We only spent about 30-40 minutes there, because it's a small place, but interesting nonetheless.

This is a hidden gem. Free entry as it is bound to the university. If you know your fossils you immediately can recognize what a gem this place is. In a small space which however expands to 3-4 floors (4th is not always open) you can find genuine and not replicas of amazing and well prepared fossils. Especially the local ones are very important and showcase the amazing palaentological importance of Germany.

So nice to be able to visit a museum inside the university, I think it really sends a message of accessibility and welcoming. Everything was cool, well organized and explained.
